Welcome to the Zion Wellness Retreat!

We are excited to have you join us for an incredible wellness experience in the beautiful surroundings of Zion. To ensure a seamless and enjoyable retreat for all participants, we have outlined the following details and expectations for our leader employees.

Our Mission:

We believe that every individual is meant for more in this one life. Our mission is to help others live life more fully and on purpose, discover their true purpose, and reconnect with who they truly are. This retreat is designed to create a space for transformation and self-discovery.

Why You Were Selected:

You were chosen to be a leader at this retreat because you have demonstrated in your own life the qualities we wish to inspire in our participants. Your commitment to living fully and on purpose, discovering your true self, and helping others do the same makes you an invaluable part of our team. Your leadership will guide others to realize their potential and embrace their journey.

Travel, Food, and Stay:

As part of our team, your travel, food, and accommodation expenses will be covered from September 19th through September 22nd. This includes:

  • Travel: Transportation to and from the retreat location. We will pay for gas to and from the airport on September 18th and September 22nd if you are driving a van, as well as gas during the retreat. 

  • Food: All meals and snacks during the covered period. We will also provide dinner for you Wednesday, September 18th as a staff "Welcome Dinner."

  • Accommodation: Comfortable lodging arrangements for the duration of the retreat.

Leader Employee Responsibilities:

As a leader employee, you will play a crucial role in the success of the retreat. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Leading Wellness & Fitness Activities: Conduct various wellness and fitness sessions to promote physical and mental well-being.

  2. Leading Workshops: Hold a workshop based on your invaluable skills. Each individual workshop held will be approved by Amanda Odgers or Bailey Kanode.

  3. Group Care: Attend to the needs and well-being of the retreat participants from 6am-9pm MST for the duration of the retreat.

  4. Driving: Safely operate a van to transport participants as needed.

  5. Marketing: Market the retreat via social media. This includes posting one reel on your page that is collaborated with @madeformoreretreats on Instagram.

  6. Referral Program: You will receive $100 for anyone that signs up for the retreat through your referral. Posting it on your stories may help a ton!

  7. Additional Tasks: Fulfill any other duties during the retreat requested by Amanda Odgers or Bailey Kanode to ensure a smooth and enjoyable retreat experience.

Code of Conduct:

To maintain a professional and supportive environment, the following code of conduct must be adhered to:

  • No Alcohol or Drug Consumption: Drinking alcohol or using drugs publicly or with retreat attendees is strictly prohibited. Leaders found consuming or promoting alcohol or drugs with participants will face immediate contract termination.

  • Presence: You are asked to be fully present at the retreat. Do not schedule calls, meetings, or anything else that might conflict with you being present at the retreat with the participants. This will ensure that we are as available as possible for them for whatever they need.

  • Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity at all times.

  • Punctuality and Presence: Leaders must be on time for all meetings and fully present during these meetings. We will meet every morning and every evening for the duration of the retreat. We may meet additionally as needed. This ensures smooth communication and effective coordination.

  • Fitness to Lead: Leaders must remain capable and fit to lead throughout the retreat.

    • Reasons for Being Unfit to Lead: A leader may be deemed unfit to lead for reasons including, but not limited to:

      • Physical Incapacity: Inability to physically perform required tasks and activities.

      • Emotional Instability: Displaying significant emotional distress or instability that affects the leader's ability to perform duties.

      • Unprofessional Behavior: Engaging in unprofessional conduct, such as disrespect towards participants or team members.

      • Failure to Fulfill Responsibilities: Not fulfilling the listed responsibilities and duties.

      • Substance Abuse: Consumption of alcohol or drugs, or promoting their use with participants.

      • Poor Communication: Inadequate communication with participants or team members, affecting the retreat experience.

    • Should Amanda Odgers or Bailey Kanode determine a leader to be unfit for any of the above reasons or any other reason at their sole discretion, the contract will be terminated.

 

Non-Compete Clause:

To protect the interests and integrity of Made for More Retreats LLC, the following non-compete clause is in effect:

  • No Client Poaching: Leaders are prohibited from soliciting or poaching clients of Made for More Retreats LLC for personal gain, their own communities, events, retreats, or any other purpose for 1 year following the retreat (Dated: September 22, 2024) unless the client was a client of yours prior to attending the retreat.

  • Protection of Trade Secrets: Leaders must not steal or disclose personal trade secrets or confidential information of Made for More Retreats LLC.

  • Hosting Similar Retreats, Events, or a Community: Leaders may not host a similar event or retreat for six months following the Zion Wellness Retreat (Dated: September 22, 2024) unless Amanda Odgers or Made for More Retreats LLC is directly involved. This clause was put into place due to trade secrets being disclosed to you confidentially.

Self-Marketing Restrictions:

To ensure the focus remains on the mission of Made for More Retreats LLC, self-marketing is strictly prohibited:

  • No Self-Marketing on Stage: Leaders are not allowed to promote themselves or their personal businesses during presentations or activities.

  • No Self-Marketing During Activities: Self-promotion in conjunction with any retreat activities is not allowed.

  • No Self-Marketing in Personal Conversations: Leaders must not market themselves in personal conversations with retreat attendees. This is a retreat. We are focused on helping them, NOT gaining clients for personal gain.

 

Self-marketing is only allowed if specifically approved by Amanda Odgers in writing.

Professional Marketing Materials:

All professional marketing materials, photos, and videos gathered from the retreat are the property of Made for More Retreats LLC. Photographers and videographers are employed for the retreat weekend to capture content of the retreat. If you would like to get personal content or a personal shoot done, please bring your own photographer or videographer. We will share content for posting that will be public to everyone and provide a great recap of the retreat for your social media pages with opportunities to collaborate with our page.

 

Important Reminder:

You are a part of and are a leader for Made for More Retreats this weekend, not here to gain clients or market yourself. We are here to help others and stand by the mission of Made for More Retreats, not seek personal gain.

 

Contract Terms:

Failure to adhere to the responsibilities and code of conduct outlined in this contract will result in the following:

  • Immediate Contract Termination: Leaders who do not render the services listed, do not follow this contract, are found drinking or promoting drinking with participants, using or promoting drug use with participants, or are deemed unfit to lead by Amanda Odgers or Bailey Kanode for any reason at their sole discretion, will have their contract voided.

  • Reimbursement of Expenses: In the event of contract termination, the leader/employee must reimburse Made for More Retreats LLC for all travel, food, and stay expenses incurred during the covered period.

By signing below, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions of this contract.
